I've decided to try out Patreon, a site design to help out artist. I've been struggling to make ends meet for a while so hopefully this help stabilize me some fanatically. I know a lot you can't afford to commission from me, but even a small donation of dollar or five helps a lot. In fact if all my watchers we're willing to donate just a dollar a month that would more money than I would know what to do with!

If Patreon proves to do well, I'll use the extra funds to do the following:

-To make comics
-Upgrade art supplies and equipment
-start attending conventions so I have to chance to meet some of you all.
I don't use DA as much anymore, but I do check back at least once in a while, so I thought update my commission policy.

My tablet just broke!!  Or specifically I think the pen for my Wacom Intuos 3 has broken. I manage to get some functionality out of it, but it feels like I'm wrestling with a bull every time I draw with it now. Looks like I'm going to have to get it replaced.

I've already done a quick search, and looks I'm going to have spend about 70 bucks to get it replaced. I'll might also consider just replacing my tablet as it getting old and start to show some wear and tear. I'm taking a look at my fiances but I don't have much to spare, I might have enough to replace the pen at least.

So sadly this going put a dent into my art output. I might have to go back to using tradition media tools (gasp!) like good old pen and paper.
I know I haven't posting much, but part of reason I feel that I don't see much activity on this site.

So my question to you all, is how many people actually look here versus some my other online galleries I have?

Any suggestions how to be more interactive? or least generate more traffic?

I'm also looking for commercial art projects as well.
Well I'll heading off too Sakura Con. I'll be helping a friend out with dealer's booth at the convention. He's nice enough to allow me to sells some my work at his booth, so I'll have some bookmarks and keychain for sell. So anyone looking for some art, or just want to stop by and say hi. Check out Sean Anime and Other Things booth, I'll be there all weekend.
Yep not dead yet

Not much news, I'm going to try add some new art as bunch of stuff that I finished just haven't gotten around to uploading.
Planning on attending Sakura Con, I may be selling art prints and bookmarks to anyone that interested.
For some time I been considering getting back into drawing comics. But I can be very indecisive at times had its hard to make up my mind. I think I want to do something casual or short first and work my way up form that.  The other dilemma is how much time I want to invest in it. Drawing, writing, and posting in on website (other than deviant art) can take a lot out of me. So I basically have three options.

1) Find a writer, focus on drawing. I'll be honest this might be hardest for me to do. It can be very easy for me get board or unfocused with someone else's material and becomes hard for me to motivated to draw. If on chance I do like the material I tend to want to be able put in a lot creative input into the story and a lot writer's  will start to feel that I'm stepping on their toes.

2) Find an artist, focus on writing. Biggest problem is most artist want to be paid. Something that I'm not in to position really to do at this time. Also I would have find work with artist that think draws better than. Not really a problem as find a lot peoples artwork better than mind.  I'm not very confident about my writing ability. I am taking a writing course at college now, so hopefully I'll improve and gain some confidence.

3) Do it myself! Time is biggest challenge here as well motivation. But course this gives me most control but find without constant feedback I will give up.
So does anyone have any advice or opinions?

On another note I'm interest in doing art trades just for some fun.

Back from Kumoricon! I had a lot fun, met a lot a people, got to see a lot cool costume (the girl in Starsream costume was just awesome). The artist alley was in same spot that dealers were so that was cool, but dealer hall was located in a parking garage which wasn't as cool. I also drew a lot illustration while sitting at my table so I'll be uploading them soon. Including a commission that decided take pictures as I progress through it.

Also forgot to print out business cards so I made a munch of on the spot custom ones. So if anyone can seen me scan of one those business cards I'll give you $10 discount on a commission.

When I walk in that hotel I knew right away that was in for something special. Starting with that awsome grab back so full of paizo goodies that I would been happy if turn around went back home then. But I didn't  and each day kept on getting better and better.  I had blast playing D&D at a convention for the first time. Meeting new people and others in person for first time. Getting a not only a chance to see some my favorite game designers but even hang out with them and chat about silly things like worst episodes of Star Trek Next Gen!

I want thank Liz and Hugo again for getting me involved with the Wayfinder fanzine as well convincing me to go to the con. It been while since I had this much fun at a convention and I hope to do again next year.

It's been awhile but I'm starting to draw again. If only for the sake of drawing stuff for myself. I'm still drawing the comics for www.remedialcomics.com but I had to reduce my schedule for it once a week. Three times a week was starting to stress me out, and I'm starting a new Job so I need to cut back at least for the time being. I also wasn't doing any drawings for myself. Which I think is very important cause some time guy just has to draw a dragon or cute anime girl.

I've also moved to Tacoma. So I'm now in search of D&D group. Anyone know of Pathfinder role players in the area?
